About The Wax Hive

The Wax Hive Started in February 2021 and has one owner,Vicci. With her passion for Home Fragrances, she decided to start her own business. Vicci puts a lot of hard work, time and passion into her creations and loves what she does. Vicci has a son, a partner in crime ( what she calls her better half, Andy) a dog called Gizmo and also works on the evenings and weekends doing another job.

Vicci is also passionate about Mental Health and will do what she can to support two amazing causes that are close to her heart.

The first one being Creative Minds.

Creative Minds works in partnership with the community in order to provide an accessible service that aims to improve the mental health
andwell-being of children, adults and young people of all ages and back grounds. Vicci's son James, has used the service over the past 2 or more years
after suffering with his own mental health. Its through Creative Minds that James has gained his confidence and realised that there are also other children out there the same.

Vicci found out in 2020 that James had been diagnosed with TIC disorder and associated OCD. James will get involuntary moments that he cannot control, James can often get upset about this has he finds it frustrating that he cannot control them. This is why we had help from both Creative Minds & Lucys Blue Day. In respect of the OCD, James gets intrusive thoughts and once they are there, he struggles to get them out of this head again.

My second one is Lucys Blue Day. The author Chris Dukehas wrote books on children’s mental health. Lucy’s
Blue Day is about a very special little girl with magical hair. It changes colour with her motions. If she is feeling happy, it is purple. If she is jealous, it will turn green. This charming story is the tale of when Lucy wakes up and her hair is blue, and she doesn’t understand why. Lucy soon learns that it is #OKNotToBeOK

Hope4All are in the stages of putting together a garden space with Bee Hives!! All proceeds from the sales will go
towards maintaining their gardens and bee's. Vicci can’t wait to have a go of playing with Bees Wax!
